I am having problems with a parameterized remote view of a SQL Server table. I have parameterized the view to return only one record, based on it's primary key. There is a PK restraint on the SQL Server table. If I issue:

USE rv_IndexRun NODATA
APPEND BLANK
BROWSE

I get an error message from VFP:

Cannot insert an empty row from a view into its base table(s)

Why is the BROWSE triggering an update?
