hi all,
i am currently developing a client server application from an old system, but have run into a design problem. the software has a lot of lists in combo boxes for the user to select from and it seems that on start up, dragging all this info across each time the form loads will create to much of an overhead.
i know about maintaining the lists on each client machine, but doesn't this get messy when people add to the lists??
what is the best way to have all these lists and maintain integrity to the database?
