Is there a reason you're looking for one "written" in VB? Is it because you want the source to be able to modify it to your needs? The reason I ask is because VB comes with the Access database engine. There are a whole bunch of controls that come with it call DAO (Data Aware Objects, I beleive?) controls. They provide pretty powerful database abilities, including SQL. I've never done any database work with VB, so I'm not familiar with the DAO controls myself. For database work, I've always used FoxPro, but I plan on looking into the DAO controls myself soon.
