I have a grid in which I have a combo box.

This grid typically contains 5 rows which represent diffrent price bands for a product.

The combo box contains a list of the units they are allowed to choose (inches,centimeters,meters) etc

For some reason now when the user clicks in the column containing the combo box the grid pointer jumps down to the last row in the grid.


Does anyone know of a cure for this behaviour or can tell me what I am doing wrong (This is the first time I have used a combo in a grid)

The behaviour is the same regardless of the type of combo or the setting of the column sparse property.

I can find no code in the grid that might be moving the record pointer.

All help greatfully received because I am on the point of abandoning this technique. I was once warned never to do data entry in grids but I ignored the advice duh :(
