MSDN Universal for a VFP developer?

It depends on your environment. If you only work in VFP and only support Win9X then no, it isn't worth the money (IMO). Because you are getting a lot that you will never need/use.

However, if you use multiple environments (VFP, VB, VC++) and you create applications that run on a variety of platforms (Win9X, NT, Win2K) then it is without doubt worth the investment. Universal gives you all the Visual Studio stuff as well as the OSs and the add-ons (SQL Server, Exchange, etc.).

TechNet Plus isn't as usefull to me. It would be a "nice to have". If you don't have access to support.microsoft.com then its essential.
