General Field question
I am using a General Field in an invoice table in which I want to store a word processing version of the invoice, so that the user can fine tune the invoice and print it out. I've created a template version of the word processing document in both Microsoft Word and WordPerfect and, depending on the user's choice, I APPEND GENERAL the appropriate template and send it the invoice information by using the DATA clause.
First problem: if I use the General Field on a form, I can edit the document in MS Word, but I can't print it out. The printing icons on the tool bar are greyed out.
Second Problem: In the Word Perfect version of the form, the minute I press any key to edit the invoice, it crashes.
I would appreciate some help.
