My problem is that I can not install properly mscomm32.ocx (sp4) on a computer with Win nt 4.0 (sp6) and without VS 6.0. I haven't tried on win9x.

I have created instalation disks using Setup wizard (vfp6.0, sp4) and VSI 1.1 with mscomm32.msm (sp4). The result is always the same - I can not open com port.

The only way, which I've discovered, to make mscomm32.ocx work is to install for example vfp (or vb) and then uninstall it from a computer. Then you can safely install your program and it will work fine with Mscomm32.ocx.

Maybe I need to install some additional files. I don't know.
