Hey Tom,
Pardon my jumping in here - I enjoyed your above statement. Perhaps as we gain that wealth of 'age', what we once assumed was observation, we come to realize was actually confession. :-) ha-ha. I re-read you "Man is truly..." as "Thomas is truly..." a got a whole new animal out of it. Could this be how it's lived in memory?
Women tend to build their ID from relationship material. Mens material is stuff like food, quite, sleep, sex. Sounds good doesn't it? :-)
