Maybe I am not understanding how to do the 'correctly'? What I want to do is disable ALL fields and grid (to prevent typo accidents by bump a key) and then upon hitting the 'Add'/'Edit' button, then enable the parent or the child (I have two 'Add/Edit/Delete' buttons for each p/c on the same form)... Any other ideas? Again, if you could take my project and look at it, maybe you would have a better idea then (it is about 35KB zipped).

I am going on a 1-1/2 weeks vacation, but I would like to take this home to do just that part (disable/enable).
