By "simultaneous connections", I mean two separate object links to Excel... such as,

oExcel1 = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
oExcel2 = CreateObject("Excel.Application")

This way, I can send data to cells in two different spreadsheets, depending on the kind of data being processed. However, the application was encountering a 1426 error when I had two connections, versus no error while working with a single connection.
