Do we have an atttitude problem here??? I'm naturally a cheerful cooperative person. HOWEVER - there are times when I get fiercely angry and flame anyone within a couple of parsecs.(or should that be parsex??<g>)
Yes, there are people who are a) incompetent, b) natural a**holes, c) slightly dumber than Dilbert's boss. We all work for them at times.

I'm currently working on a project for a client who is not so much a micromanager as a pico manager. When she asked at our last meeting who was going to manage the project I told her (in the glacial tones of a British public school alumnus) I was project manager. She then asked for a project timeline with productivity stats and I told her that wasn't how I worked and that I would report status to her every couple of weeks.

Of course -- I could cop an attitude about how unreasonable she is, but I find it more fun to run rings round her, and have her use her lack of reason against herself.
