http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/acticles/Q197/2/06.asp discribes: slight memory leak calling VFP COM DLL repeatedly from VFP.

The same problem appears when calling a VFP COM DLL from ASP.
The memory usage of dllhost.exe increases every call to the ASP which creates the com dll. The first calls it increases with megabites. When the usage reaches about 16mb it increases with 100 to 300kb the next calls.

The article states that the problem appears to be related to returning long strings back from the COM DLL.
Our dll uses the HTMLEncode method of the ASP-response object for each string it returns to the client. So, maybe an other way of encoding can help.

Does anyone know this problem and/or a solution?
