The grid in question displays information about clients. When the grid is first initiated is shows the information for every client in the database. What I am trying to do is allow the user to view only those clients assigned to a particular group. I have a drop down list in my toolbar that contains all of the different groups. When the user selects a group from the list it performs a 'SET FILTER TO [selected group}'. The problem is that some of the groups do not have any clients assigned to them yet, so when that group is selected the 'SET FILTER TO' command returns no records and the grid is empty.
