I have read several exchanges between Craig and JVP where statements were worded very strongly. I don't have a problem with these exchanges because Craig and John are expression an opinion that is usually qualified with an explanation.

Not all all! I just think a 'Don't do this' with no real explanation is no help at all. We all can learn from mistakes (ours or somebody's else) but it's very difficult to learn from a statement that cannot be evaluated. Note that I do post code whenever possible and sometimes it comes back with some bad comments or corrections... It has not stopped me from posting additional code.

Maybe... However, Craig is recognized as an expert by most of this community and I do believe that gives him the extra responsibility of providing an explanation because it's more likely that some readers will take his posts as holy truths. Feel free to disagree with me as this is just my opinion.
