Wayne -
We just purchased the ODBC stand-alone add-on as well, and so far it's ok with 2 exceptions. The first, and biggest is that it returns '12/30/9999' when the dBaseIV table has an empty date! Their answer so far has been that it's 'by design' because dBaseIV tables can't store NULL.
The second problem is that accessing the tables on a Novell server is significantly slower (1 minute for a query compared to 4 seconds using MS or Merant drivers).
Have you seen the same behavior(s)?
