I could not boot with a floppy. Same error. I have not changed anything. As a matter of fact, I did not even manually restart the computer. Maybe a power blip, but it is connected to a battery. I don't know why it restarted.
After turning it off and back on 4-5 times testing to see if the error was the same, it started working again. I immediately backed up all of my data!
>It looks like your IDE controller is dying. But that's just a guess. Can you boot with a floppy or different kernel? Did you make any BIOS or hardware changes?
