Hi,

I'm trying to use the T-SQL Debugger so that I can step through stored procedures. I run nt server as my workstation and have sql server 7.0 running on the same machine. I have the Visual Basic T-SQL Debugger working. I can connect to the database and see the stored procedure. When I run the stored procedure I get the message:

'The query could not be debugger due to a problem coordinating event with the server. Check the server and client log...'

In the event log I have the following message:

17750 :
Cannot load the DLL SDI, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 126(The specified module could not be found.).

I installed SQL Server 7.0 again. The file sdi.dll was not installed . I copied it into my "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\sql debugging" directory.

I tried running c:\winnt\system32\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Sql Debugger\sdi.dll" but got a load library failed.

Any ideas,

Paul
