Ed;

I have used the codebook framework fairly extensively. It has some good features and is certainly a much better starting point than building an app from scratch! What I dislike is the fact there is a lot of 'close coupling' between the objects. Their concept was to have all forms saved as classes, and to use business objects etc. I think their business objects is a good idea that nobody should use. I get the sense that though the people at Flash are very bright, they would do a much better job today, two years down the road with the codebook than they did initially. The codebook was out almost when VFP 3.0 hit the street. I think we've all learned a lot since then but the Codebook was conceived, designed and developed with the VFP beta versions. In spite of that, it is robust and functional and has done a lot of the foundation work that the developer would have to do.

I am not sure what else to say!
