But our fellow member mentioned he never sets TMPFILES which is, guess where... :).
One way would be to keep the temp files on the local temp drive (using GetEnv("temp"), but then programmatically create our own subdirectory in it, and write this location into a config.fpw... which would then be a PITA to propagate into the .lnk file, because we'd need to force the icon to have the -c[path to our config file] switch. Sort of a circulus viciosus.
In the office here we have an installer which creates c:\[our_logo_name]\temp and we have a class which forces the creation of temp files there, but this doesn't work for cursors - they still end on the default temp location - this is just the temp .dbf and .cdx stuff.
