>If it's an ordinary wait window, it will pause until there's been a keypress or a mouse click. Do you have a WAIT WINDOW NOWAIT "your message"? That should stay on screen until you do a WAIT CLEAR.

Yes, I have a NOWAIT. The point here is that the application is like frozen until the process is complete. The other thing I noticed is while the process is running the task manager says my application is not responding.
