I would recommend SBT...

Although SBT is not made on any commerical framework but the SBT has the largest third party vertical market product which integrate seemlesly with SBT. to check a list of SBT third part products goto http://bsc.sbt.com some of those are:

1. Radio Beacon Warehouse management system.
2. UPOS Point of Sale system
3. Elevator and E-merchant E-commerce solutions for B2B and B2C Ecommerce.

And one of the strongest part of SBT over the rival VFP based accouning systems is Wide network of resellers and user base.

CA is not going to kill the SBT instead these guys are planning to do upgadation and addition of new features to the SBT Pro Series and even promised to launch SQL server version next finanical year.

Only competitors i can see for SBT are Accountmate and IAS visual advance.

1. IAS Visual advance has no market prsence yet, they are very new to market.
2. Accountmate has very few resellers.

So i will recommend SBT over all other systems..
