While indexing one of the fields lets says contact1 of my addbook project

command I gave was:

Index on chrtran(contact1,chrtran(contact1, "01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ",""), "") tag contact1

Error I was getting was Invalid Key

But some other fields was getting Indexed like Pin, or state field.

Is there any rule that the command has to be less than 255 character or
what can be the reason.
