Third party products
I'vw worked with SBT for several years. All the way back to when it could run on Dbase III and on two 5 1/4 floppy drives. (I started VERY young).
While I would agree that at times SBT is a real pain in the A-- so are all the others I have worked with. At least with SBT I get all the source code, the data dictionary is excellent (written and computer) and it links with a wide variety of third party packages.
I use SBT,TIW,Radio Beacon; all linked. Web Connection to access it on the web. The whole time I am linked to common database tables. Written correctly it provides a good base to build on. Plus a datacollection system using useing Windows CE which still looks back at SBT & TIW databases.
Over look some of the old programming style and legacy database structures and I think it is still a good product.
I don't sell it I just use it.
For what it is worth......
