I have a project that would require scripting over a private IP network from a Windows client to a UNIX host. (Windows client is in a remote building. Serial cable is not an option. Modem is not an option.)

Looking for recommendations for a library or other way to do this.

I use CommTools for serial and modem work and it is great. Just need something for over a network.
