I am writing some conversion tsql to move data from one database to another. I am finding it difficult to write the conversion with the use of cursors. I understand that cursors really use up a ton of resources and therefore I would rather not use them. What other alternatives do I have? or if I use a cursor how can I reduce the resource drain as much as possible? What is the resource drain using DTS?
