Find one economist who judges the economy solely on the stock markets. Fact is, none of them do. But you read Rush's article, and automatically believe him, just further proving my point.

If I were to judge the economy solely on the stock markets, I would look at the huge plunge back in October of 1987 and say the US economy was in a depression. It wasn't.

Even if I were to do judge the economy solely on the markets, they didn't start to head south until March (NASDAQ) and April (DOW) of this year. Rush said it was a year. Yet again, Rush fooling his followers. And you know what? If Dan Rather were to do the same thing with a Democrat coming in after a Republican President, you would be all over him. Yet when Rush does it... well, that's a different story.
