If he doesn't...well the entire conversion program (excluding the type declaration) probably wouldn't be more than a half a dozen lines or so of BASIC and would probably be faster than Fox (which would have to parse the file byte by byte). Further, there are a lot of folks here who would probably be happy to help him.

I have a couple of routines to do integer and float conversion. They were made to recover VFP tables, and the format of the numbers may vary (length of the exponent and the mantissa, position of the sign bit in each, eventual mantissa offset), but the conversion may still be feasible. If the original poster doesn't come up with the structure of the table (and an all-basic solution), I'll post them here (as soon as I remember where I keep them).
