>I have noticed in dowloading classes from Rick Strahl's site that he uses code to build his classes. What is the advantage of using DEFINE..ENDDEFINE over the VCX ( or vice versa)? Or does it really matter how classes are built/
Ken:
The code classes also have another advantage that Martin and Walter have not mentioned. VSS works better with Code classes. Code classes you can use the compare and merge on.
I use a mix personally. Non visual classes and my visual base class are prg. For easy of use, any visual subclasses are vcx.
Hope this helps.
