I can't understand very well your problem, but I'll glad to help. Can you explain it more carefully. I don't get if it's the same builder not working from VFP5 to VFP6, or you changed the builder and can't get it working as you expected.

Indeed, if you include a couple lines of the code (where you are changing the properties) maybe I can find out what's wrong.

I've tried using VersaTools to locate these entries, but the only certain way I've found is to manually go the each grid with defaults on looking for each bad entry and changing it.
