I have not worked with code pages, but here are some VFP functions that may help:

CPDBF() - Returns the code page of a DBF
CPCONVERT() - Converts text from one code page to another
CPCURRENT() - Returns the current code page

The Windows ANSI code page is 1252, while the Windows Greek code page is 1253.
