A gentleman named Dennis ALlen did a LOT of work on getting Fox 2.6 for Unix working earlier this year and in 1999. His web site is at:

I know he messed with terminal settings and everything in order to get some Fox 2.6 apps running on Linux...he posted his progress on Usenet groups...
