Cindy,
I don't think the user has actually modified these reports even though the option is there. Here is a quick overview of how the reports get printed:
1. After a report is chosen from a list, go to the record containing that report.
2. Run some processing to set up the data environment/cursor.
3. Copy memo winrpt.frx to workrpt.frx
4. Copy memo winrptmemo.frt to workrpt.frt
5. REPORT FROM workrpt TO PRINT (or PREVIEW)
Now, would this type of process detect printer changes each time and change the settings on the fly? I ask because I am still confused as why, if I run the same report from the same table, in the same manner, I get different results. This is what is confusing me.
Thanks,
George
