>Tell me about it. I've been playing with it all weekend, and yesterday reverted to VFP6 on the job, and guess what - I felt slightly crippled, like driving a car that has a few things not functioning, but somehow still runs.

What I notice most is the lack of Intellisense. When it was first spec'ed, I kind of scoffed. Hey, I know how to use the product, I don't need some crutch to help me along (unlike VC++, where I can use all the help I can get :-). Now when I flip back to 6.0, I realize I rely more on Intellisense than I thought.

>>If you don't find anything, or no one else comes up with an answer, ping me and I'll resort to looking at the spec. :-)

>Oh no, you don't want to do that. Real programmers never...

It's F2 and Shift-F2. And, yes, I had to resort to looking at the spec. :-)

>Actually, I expected another little window, or a tab in the GoTo window where you could have the bookmarks listed (perhaps the bookmarked line quoted)... but then there's no way this can get included into the final release, right?

You would probably do better to use task list shortcuts. Bookmarks don't persist across VFP sessions anyway, but shortcuts do.

>(don't you get a feeling this was a slight push in a certain direction, eh?)

Erm, I'm not sure what you mean.

>Speaking of which, there are several icons I see there - there's the blue rectangle for the tasklist, another one for the bookmark, red dot for a breakpoint and then sometimes I see a black triangle, which disappears as soon as I start typing.

Hmm, I don't think that's suppose to happen. :-) Seriously, I don't know that the black triangle is supposed to appear under any circumstance.

> I really don't know when does the arrow appear, much less why, and it's sort of confusing.

If you get a reproducable scenario, let me know and I'll bug it.

> Of course, there's no "black arrow" in the help... or should I look under "editor enhancements". But then, real programmers...

Nope, I doubt that it's documented, since to my knowledge it should be there.
