I agree 100% with you. The current interface makes it almost useless for me, since I don't have access to the search option. A simple alphabetical sorted list with a header like this "A B C ... Z", where when the user click on a letter, the list jump to the first entry starting with this letter, would be much more helpfull.

BTW, I would extend this suggestion to the FAQ and API sections also.
