Hi Gerald,

When you went into to PWS, did you click on the "Start" button to start PWS? If so, you will see an indicator that the web server is running. as a side note, did you install PWS from the VS CDs? If you have a Windows98 CD, install PWS and MTS off of that. We have found that the PWS from the VS CDs if flaky.

When creating your project in VI, it should be able to pick up the local server. If you want to run locally with PWS, you can work in master mode, but with the local web server.

It works well, I have not had any problems with this kind of setup.
