Gary DeWitt gave a presentation at Great Lakes Great Database Workshop where he indicated that you could have 15 people access the database, but when the 16th person accessed it, performance took a hit. How many users do you have?

>Okay ... the first thing I saw was a 5 USER limit. That rules out MSDE. SBS may the better ... looking into that now.

>>>You may want to use MSDE. MSDE stands for Microsoft Data Engine. It is basically SQL Server 7.0, with some limitations (database size, number of users) and it's freely distributable!. You can check out some articles at the Fox Wiki:

>>>This is a nice solution because if your database does grow, or you have too many users, you can switch easily to SQL Server.
