I say leave it alone... because you can't guarantee that it will not be necessary in the future to use SQL Server (at least that's what the tone of your post sounded like to me).

Looks like the price of SQL is around $5,000 from MS - if it takes you 3-4 weeks to change the program, you will probably be losing money, and you won't have a scalable solution if you need it.
