Occasionally I get an error message stating that the system could not read a memory location - typically location zero. The offending program then terminates.
I had this one one machine, and I thought it was a memory problem. I have since installed Win2K (with SP1) on a new machine, and I get the same problem.
It is obviously not a hardware problem, since it occurs on two different machines. The two programs I have seen it happen with are Visual FoxPro 6 (with SP4), when exiting from the program, and ACDSee, a graphics viewer - in this program, it happens while the program is running.
This did NOT happen, with these same programs, under NT4.0
Any thoughts?
