Thanks, I did get it to work with these dlls after fiddling with things, but I guess the real question is, is it a good idea? (here I'm speaking only of apps that do not use local tables, etc.). If there is any complexity (like OLE/ODBC), then running a setup is certainly better...
On the other hand, we're moving into Intranet here where many apps are/will be run entirely off servers...but I still prefer the idea of local installs for files such as dlls...what do you think?
