> Really? I have yet to make it all the way through it. I was really put off by some of the writing style(s) in it. I find it really annoying to have code examples shown without a really good explaination of it. I found myself skipping sections of it because of that, which is never a good sign.
What code examples are you talking about? Maybe I only think I understand something. < g >
My complaints are:
1. No code on the web site
2. No example of generating a PK in SQL Server with s stored proc (this really gave me fits. I knew how to do it in VFP, but not in SQL Server).
3. The book seems a little thin. I have a feeling they could gone more in depth, but I don't have the expertise yet to make that call.
However, there have been tips like sharing ODBC connections, MSDE, remote views and SPT, differences in VFP and SQL Server data types that I have not found elsewhere.
