I've had the pleasure of having some correspondence with Gary in the past, and have found him not only to be highly knowledgable, but, simply put, a good guy. As a said, I'm a newbie with SQL Server so even if the book is rudimentary, I'm sure that it'll be money well spent. Frankly, (and I do agree that the SQL server help is great) sometimes it's a little overwhelming trying to digest it all.
