Hi Allan,

Transamerica Insurance Finance Corp (A Division of
Transamerica, Which is a division now of Aegon)
uses Visual Foxpro 6.0 in an n-tier application.
We utilize Sybase 11.X on a Unix Box as the back-end
database, IIS, VFP and Interdev. This system is the
Core of our Origination of New Business.

We too had to take on the Establishment and had to show
how VFP and MS Tools in general would allow us to create
a superior application in less time than Powerbuilder and
Sybase's Jaguar...

In addition all our Canada, UK and Puerto Rico systems
are in Various Versions of Foxpro and we are
currently re-writing a huge End-User Customer Application
in Visual Foxpro with an installation base of about 7000.
