Thanks, I'll give that a try.

On my form, the user specifies the selection criteria and format for a report to be created. I then DO a program that
creates the appropriate report. I have always used public variables for passing the information from the form to
the program.

Since I am new at this, I think that I am still too much in the mindset of the old FoxPro development paradigm and
need to work harder on understanding and making use of Object Oriented programming paradigms.
