I am curious as to how long folks are going to continue to cite Surplus Direct.

Was it impressive? Yes. However, this too should be noted:

1. It was 5 years ago...
2. Surplus direct no longer exists. It was bought by Egghead.Com
3. Egghead.Com does not use a VFP-based solution.

Some of the keys to good case-studies are as follows:

1. How current is the study?
2. How similar are the requirements?


That said, there is a big void in good VFP case-studies....
