I am developing multiuser application now.
I am running my application under 10BASET erthernet LAN. CYRIX MII 300 64MB RAM server.
My table contains 10000 reocrds. When I tried to pull out 5000 records from server, it take me 1-2 minutes. Therefore, I tried to change my network card to 100BASET. It work faster, about 4 seconds for 5000 records.
Is it acceptable for this performance? Any way to imrpove it again?
