Must be the new millenium or something because I find myself agreeing wholeheartedly. But, wouldn't MS not want to do this for fear of commiting "fraticide" with Access?

Outside of the box, and with MS's support - VFP has a legit shot in the Desktop App. Market - which IMO - will be viable for some time to come...
