I agree with Larry. As my personal expirience, however, if you need to choose what things you upgrade first, RAM in both sides use to make the biggest difference. VFP can take a LOT of advantage from vast memory. And 100x vs 10x is extremelly recommended, too. Processor (supossing you're on the pentium line, of course) doesn't ussually make a terrible difference (in a typical bussiness app).

For a normal (if there is such thing) app, the ideal Workstation have to have 64 Mb or more. The server is more difficult to calculate, but if the app is a bit slowly (supossing it's not your code's fault), trying to double RAM is almost always a good thing.
