I'm not an expert, but I think I read recently somewhere, that with VFP6 the custom class isn't any longer that bad concerning memory usage. But Markus Egger in "Advanced OOP" propagates the "invisible" line class as a usable lightweight class for those purposes.

So I'd vote for the line too :)
