If you are going to write an accounting package, I hope you are a practicing accountant or have very inexpensive access to one. Otherwise, I would recommend AccountMate. Call Helen Childs @AccountMate 800-877-8896 ext 533 and explain what you are trying to do. She could steer you to the tech people there to answer your questions, etc.
