Hi folks,
One of my clients is setting up a webserver. He has Win 2000 Professional on the computer, and thinks he needs Windows 2000 Server. He was told (by the computer store) to get a 5-client version ($900 US). If he's ONLY using it for a web server, shouldn't he be able to get by with a 1-client version ($200 US)? Unfortunately my experience is entirely NT....

I've been assuming that Win2000 Professional doesn't have IIS, just the equivalent of Personal Web Server, but again, I don't know beans about this. Is it possible he doesn't need the server version at all?

TIA
Barbara
